I'd like to see Jerry make this hire give the man a chance let him spread his wings and show what he can do...Hopefully Jerry will let him bring his own OC and DC and we COWBOYS fans will to see change in the culture and more discipline team , and better play calling and time management....Rather see this than some old superstar coach or overrated KM...Will be be fun and exciting for a change....Like I said before the bandwagon left 30 years ago us true fans will enjoy....  don't hold your breath

I’m so hoping I mean REALLY hoping he gives it to Dion ,,,,, I’m mean can think of a better [censored] show? Troy was on the radio the other day lobbying for Deion. He thinks Deion would be the only one to keep Jerry out of the coaching decisions and that Deion would be able to bring his own staff. Any other HC is going to have to accept a staff of coaches assembled by Jerry, which is insanely stupid.

It sure does not excite me any but you just never know, he could be the next Shanahan or McVey, I have heard that he is highly thought of around the Star, high energy, and he and Dak have a very good relationship. To be honest I would just as soon have him as Moore, nothing against Moore b ut he just does not strike me as being a head coach right now. Oh man, the now drinking thread started early today...

This has been heavy on my mine and decided that Jerry is going to show what makes the Dallas Cowboys what puts that Star on that helmet....You enjoy them 3 Superbowls hes going to hit another gloryhole ....

If they're counting on good family genes his daddy (Marty Schottenheimer) was 5 -13 in playoffs and never went to the SB.
