39° this morning, headed for 62° later this afternoon. I was the senior officer in charge of the the alternate command post that night, watching CNN to see if our targeting planning was working against the Iraqi communications infrastructure. When CNN went off the air, there was a resounding "hell yeah!" from the folks who had worked so hard for over 4.5 months to make it happen. It was one the highlights of my 20+ years of service.
