Ewers, Ehlinger, Simms, McCoy...etc, etc, etc. Manning might be more of the same but the QB didn't lose that last game. First and goal from less than two yards...twice. THAT is what did them in. Sark outsmarted himself and got kicked in the nuts for it. They had FIVE shots from the 2, 4 of them from the ONE. Under the circumstances the second down call might be the single worst play call I've ever witnessed. If ut cannot move the football 3 FEET FORWARD with FOUR opportunities they simply do not deserve to win the game IMOP. Also, it looked like to me the DC called a delayed blitz with 29 seconds left in the first half with OSU starting on their 18 yard line.... but I haven't bothered to watch the play in slow motion to confirm... maybe Coach Hark can offer up his opinion. No matter, if ut cannot hold their ground on a 82 yard field with 29 seconds left, well, again they don't deserve to win the game IMOP..... and I HATE "The" Ohio State University and was BIG TIME pulling for ut....

Yep they were in a 3 man front and blitzed a backer so they rushed 4, they had both corners and both safeties at about midfield. That's 8 defensive players which left 3 underneath with 1 lb'er to the field where they threw the screen. OSU lineman were "looking" for people to block, they couldn't find any white jerseys!!!

"no white jerseys to block"... hehehe... Sad but true... Coach, not only the LB, it also looked like to me the CB responsible for contain on that side of the field ran about 2 or 3 paces backwards and then ran wide open towards the line of scrimmage/QB giving the OSU running back a wide open field with the DB now totally out of position to defend.(late reaction/terrible angle) ... BUT, that is based on only seeing the play at full speed and one time....so I DEFINITELY could be in error..... We had an ice storm here that knocked out our electricity. As a result I had to watch the game at a Mexican restaurant. On that play the whole joint went nuts.... hehe he... I couldn't see the replay due to the near riot....hehehe

If you aren't aware, a high ankle sprain is a fractured fibula, the little lower leg bone. I was very unaware that a high ankle sprain is actually a fracture. the problem with your statement is the word is. Thanks for getting it straight WAWI I do what I can to educate

Ewers just declared for the NFL draft. I would guess late 2nd round or 3rd.

Ewers just declared for the NFL draft. I would guess late 2nd round or 3rd. Thatโs probably his best option, considering heโs injury prone. A multi year NFL contract would potentially be better than a 1 yr NIL deal. If he were to get injured in college next year he could be done for good.

IMOP, If the game "slows down" a bit more for him he could end up a solid NFL QB. He needs a high quality QB coach/HC to mentor him for 2 or 3 years IMOP. He's a tough kid, pretty calm, quality arm, seems pretty mature as he handled all the ut BS really well, etc. Odds are against, but, I wouldn't bet against him...

You never really know how someone will react one in the NFL like say Ryan Leaf lots of duds and lots of overachievers. Baker Mayfield is one.

He was going to be another bust in Cleveland. Who drafts you is a big part of it.

It's a different game. I just wish there was a middle ground that was accepted in the TFF. If you think Ewers is a top 20 college QB, but not a championship QB, you're a "hater". If you think Dak is a top 15 QB but not worth $60M a year, you're a "hater". If you love Trump as president but have concerns about him as a candidate, you're a "hater". The extremeness at times is a bit much. I will agree that Ewers didn't lose them that game. 100% agree....he also didn't go win it for them like Vince and Colt used to do.
