depending on each game the Chiefs,Bills, or Ravens could be the AFC champ this year. If I was betting on it, I would bet on the Chiefs, but not by much

I think they will get by the Texans but the winner of the Bills and Ravens will be another story. I hope the Eagles make it from the NFC side but think it will be the Lions. I don't think the Chiefs 3 peat.

These aren’t a bunch of college kids. These are professionals. With possibly the best QB to ever play the game, along with the best head coach in the league and the best defensive coordinator. They’ll be ready.

Anything can happen- but statistically Andy Reid teams do very well after a bye.

How is this laughable? The only two arguably better are prime Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, but those are a stretch.

They beat the Ravens by a toe... BenGals on a bogus PI call that got them into field goal range at the end of the game... The Gals even got the obligatory email from the league saying it was a blown call... They've won numerous games by one score or less... Wouldn't a bit surprised to see them fall before the AFC Championship game... Just my take... Dan

There was nothing bogus about the pass interference call in the Bengals game. He went through the receiver before the ball arrived. That's PI all day every day regardless of when it happens.

Mahomes has been "off" because the offensive line, particularly the tackles, have been terrible. He was hit more times than any quarterback in the league and sacked 36 times in 16 games. Just to put that in perspective Josh Allen was sacked 14 times. After playing three wooden Indians who couldn't either slow or even get in the way of rushers through about 13 games they moved Joe Thuney from guard to LT and he didn't give up a sack in three games. Not surprisingly the passing game improved, as in 320 yards and three TDs with no picks in the 29-10 win in Pittsburgh.

Every team that plays Kansas City tries to run the play clock and shorten games to give Mahomes fewer possessions. That has been going on for years. They also go for it on fourth down more often. It probably holds down KC's scoring, but does it work? The league going 1-15 against the starters this year says maybe not.

I don't know how much you watch the Chiefs, but Andy Reid has become a conservative play caller on first and second downs. The problem is that the two primary backs are averaging 3.6 and 3.7 yards per carry. That equates to a lot of 3rd and 5 and "get us a first down, Patrick" situations. Luckily he's able to do it pretty often. I think the Chiefs have the highest third down conversion rate in the NFL.

Give Mahomes Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and we'll see how "down" the passing game is.

I think this could be a very competitive game. The Texans have finally put their complete healthy defense on the field last week. They did not have Al-Shaair when they played KC in the regular season in a one score game. I think he can make a huge difference as he is incredible against the run and will be a good spy on Mahomes. The Chiefs will be the normal Chiefs and will score some no matter what defense they play. The Texans defense should pay pretty good. The determining factor then comes down to two things to me - Will the Texans O-line be able to give Stroud time to pass and will all the back up receivers be able to get some separation?
