Was it a legit repo? Customer could pay the note but had those high end wheels?

I have been selling drugs for 49 years. 24 years at this location, I'm ready to sell my prime corner. It has been interesting and rewarding.

+1

And the rate at which it changes continues to increase while my ability to keep up is a constant.

I’ve worked for some really rich folks and built some cool stuff. Spent the better part of a year remodeling a house on snowmass mountain in Aspen. We stayed in the house. It recently sold for 16 million.

Vehicle has a lien on it. The vehicle itself is paid for, but they used it as collateral on something else. Furniture or something. The repo guy didn’t seem like he knew what the hell was going on. Rookie. He thought he was just gonna roll up on it, hook and go. He learned a little bit about how possession of a property works. It’s still here, after all was said and done. But….i told the customer that the lien holder gets the car when I finished. Unless they get straight with them before I’m finished.

semiconductor industry for 37 years --love the technology and it's constant evolution . Dealt with every level --CEO's, VP's , Engineers ---very smart people . Every culture ---some great , some suck .
Hate travelling ---especially internationally , such a waste of time . Had to travel to Japan one time for a dinner --UGH .
Learned that I much prefer working physically with my hands VS sitting in meetings or on my PC

Broad daylight.

Right in front of the shop. We have all the doors closed because it’s cold. I heard the trucks alarm going off on the keychain on our key rack. I kept asking. What’s that beeping noise. Opened the door and say this [censored] dragging the truck down the driveway. He then unhooked and was repositioning to get a better grab. He must have thought I was crazy.

Tell him to keep his family close and keep the friend group that he had prior to becoming a FF around, keep hobbies, stay active and never to be afraid to tell someone if a call or calls are bothering you. We gotta do a better job in this business with our mental health and watch out for one another. If he stays in it he will eventually experience burnout, calls that haunt him and just the stresses that come with this particular job. Don't drown it in alcohol or other diversions.
We all go through it. Just be honest and open about it and learn to see the signs and allow yourself the grace to be human.

When I graduated from high school I wanted to get into drafting well I got sidetracked and spent 15 years as a machinist, got laid off in 83, then bounced around for 8 years. Retrained and went to work downhole tool company, seven years later I got laid off again. Found a job in the trade show industry It was the best most satisfying ever. Retired after 2014 after 14 years great years.

I like to hang upside-down blindfolded, then I take my stapler apart and put it back together real fast before my nose begins to bleed.

I've been retired for a year now after spending 40 years as a police officer. I was fortunate enough to work for a larger department that had various divisions. Besides basic patrol functions, I was able to experience in depth activities while working community policing, narcotics, CSI, and investigations. I have no regrets, especially when that nice pension check hits my account each month..... police
