I have an interesting job. Just stopped a guy trying to steal a customers Tahoe with a tow truck. He said he had papers….i said show me the papers as I held my 357 in my hand. He jumped in the tow truck a hauled [censored]. The cops are on their way now. This truck belongs to a wealthy customer and the truck has $15,000 wheels and tires.
Broad daylight.
Right in front of the shop. We have all the doors closed because it’s cold. I heard the trucks alarm going off on the keychain on our key rack. I kept asking. What’s that beeping noise. Opened the door and say this [censored] dragging the truck down the driveway. He then unhooked and was repositioning to get a better grab. He must have thought I was crazy.

Just a no account welder with weld stamps in Siberia, Angola, Middle East, and lots of places scattered all over the U.S. That was tank and pipe work done in shops here in Tyler.
Now I just weld around here on logging equipment, fences, or whatever someone dreams up but did spend 8 days in the design district of Dallas last year framing in window and door openings.
God loves you just as much as anybody else!!
Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!

Before retiring I spent 43 years working in Corrections and 6 years in the Army. It was always interesting and something new everyday. I would do it all over again and likely the same way.

You almost made it on the news- would’ve been great!

I find my job fairly interesting. Anytime you think the job isn’t that great just think of all the jobs that suck and you realize how good you have it.

Fairly. I just develop pilot training for Delta and act as a bit of a liaison between the company and FAA to make sure all flight training is legal and in compliance with FARs

I rub bellies and butts all day...and get paid well to do so.
Um, I've met and become friends with people I would have never met any other way. I have been blessed over the years to work on amazing people; from a world-renowned physician, a Nobel prize winner, several veterans, surgeons, amputees, paraplegics, quadriplegics, wheelchair basketball players, MLB players, Olympians, etc. Have had several clients tell me over the years that they would not have been able to make it through their college career without me. They have thanked me for always being available to listen and help guide them. However, being able to help my best friend walk again and reestablish his life is the highlight of my career.
I have had hospice companies and a children's hospital try to recruit me, but I always rejected their offers. I couldn't handle dealing with hospice patients on an emotional level (it would destroy me) and I have been warned about the politics inside a hospital by too many people to ever do that.
So, yeah. Rubbing bellies and butts all day isn't for everyone, but it is interesting and extremely rewarding. Biggest compliments that I get is when someone sends me their parents or grandparents, or another one of their loved ones to help them.

My job may put many of y'all to sleep. I'm a IT PM. My job is to document the needs of the business, build timelines, build / adhere to budgets, wrangle folks, and make sure everyone delivers on time.

I spent 15 years in retail (mostly grocery), then about 10 years with beer distributors. I have spent the last 18 years working for a brewery. Pretty much setting my own schedule and planning my days. I've been able to meet a lot of interesting folks over the years, especially working in the beer business. So yes, I think my job is interesting.

i built wood roller coasters in 8 different cities, these took at least 6 months in each town, so you could really soak in the culture & cellular all over America that was fun as a young single man
i was the 1st man on top of the Texas Giant & removed the crane straps at top out

Very -- must seeing as I'm approaching 40 years doing it. Looking back over what jobs I've had in the past I don't see that uninteresting was ever a job component.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.
