Wolf moon, and yea, Mars and Jupiter were showing off last night

I went out this morning early to check it out, clear as a bell here, it was impressive

January = Wolf Moon

Me too, I enjoyed the view, always nice to see cool things in the night sky.

I used to turn the headlights off and drive by the moonlight in the wintertime out on these country roads.

I was young then though.

When we drove into town yesterday evening it was as big as a tennis ball... When we came home it was normal size... Anyone know how this happens??? Wife said she got up about 2:30a because she though we left the back deck light on it was so bright... Dan

Stopped to look at the moon yesterday at 6 pm.. at lake fork

Do the mud ducks still get run over on that bridge???... We fish Fork in the 80's and drove in at night. There were what appeared to be potholes or bumps all over the road. Ran into town a few days later and realized they were what we call mud ducks flattened all over the road... Dan

It's bad luck to run over a coot, whether you're in a boat or truck.

I had one bounce off my windshield at Toho last year. Does that count???... Didn't damage anything but scared the bejeebers out of me... I kept yelling higher, higher but he wasn't listening... Dan

Very bright moon.

I havent ever seen any road kill quacks there.. before my time.
