Just saw that the Marxist state of Idaho currently has 18 wildfires.

Exactly, and our current administration has pledged 180 days of endless money to a very wealthy CA, but ignores others...

If you care to know how the government has treated wildland firefighters over time, maybe that would shed some light on why the issues exist.

The republicans candidate who lost the Los Angeles mayoral race predicted this, made it a part of his platform, and has totally been vindicated this week.

Hell, President Trump has been talking about the fire dangers and lack of preparedness in California for years. Newsome and the other ding dongs running things in that state for sure don’t have the wherewithal to even attempt anything. Hydrants ran out of water, they apparently don’t have the necessary equipment to run ocean water (maybe you can expand on that, because I’m not sure what the issue is and why it wouldn’t be common sense for coastal towns to have the option), and they do nothing to capture rain/snowmelt, or do any maintenance.

This is a one in 1000 year situation and would have been bad no matter what, but people have been talking about the lack of action and preparation, in this area specifically, for years. Some sort of planning/attempt/anything surely wouldve made a difference. The yahoos out there refuse to do it. Or even try.

The fires are going to go out no matter what. That’s for sure. What’s left afterwards could either be bad, or it could be catastrophic, like it is now, and there was zero percent containment two days in to the first fire. That was before the others popped up.

Wildland firefighters have my utmost respect and your information on this thread has been great. But I disagree that no mayor or governor could’ve taken action prior to this week and not made any difference. People have been talking about it for years.

Saltwater destroys firefighting equipment and can sterilize property, its really not the best thing for fighting wildifres. They are using CL215s, and they are scooping from the ocean, so some saltwater is being used, but all of those fire engines would be rust buckets if they used salt water.

LA County or City of LA?

Specifically western North Carolina, etc... pretty transparent if you ask me.

Appreciate the concern, but I'm way north of these fires. I've kept my mouth shut for a reason. Southern California gets what Southern California deserves

Gods country IMOP... beautiful and great folks. It always amazes me how folks can think so differently from the nut cases in Sacramento,
San Fran/Berkeley, LA, etc.

Not sure exactly where the "common sense line" is, but, it's definitely NE of San Fran somewhere...

Now, morally corrupt lowlifes are said to be looting in evacuated areas, 12 arrested so far. The national guard has been sent in. Disgusting

I bet a lot of incriminating evidence against pedowood has been destroyed. Sad for the average citizens. Not for the Hollywood elite.

Hehehe.... quite possibly... Care to elaborate?? As you know nothing about me, nor my background, nor who I know or have known in CA, nor anything about my time and experience in CA over the past 4 decades, etc I'm genuinely very curious. Please copy and paste whatever statement I've made in this thread that formed your conclusion. Please be specific in your explanation, etc.
