I've always said we need a senior circuit.

I really don’t understand hate against older anglers fishing tournaments. I used to love this forum…. But lately it’s been a bashing board for older men. The “new balance” and other insults are sad. I’ve always liked the fact that professional fishing had a place for older men. I had always admired the older men around me. It’s a shame that we have resorted to insulting. The bass fishing community is already small.

Most of us could technically qualify for “new balance”. The hate isn’t so much hate, it’s more mocking the old guys because all they do is whine and cry…about absolutely everything. I’m sure it’s always been that way, it’s just now they have social media to whine on.

When in fact the Cho…

Never mind.

Technically.

There’s the new balance crowd and then there’s the Skechers crowd, they should be wearing new balance, but their wife picks out their shoes! 😎

Are you sure? And why Mock??? Maturing should come with age….i grew out of mocking in my 20s. Or just perpetuating your own narrative to feel relevant in your own argument. I only see you disrespecting the older men or people who think that FFS may not be good for bass fishing.

Name 1 guy under the age of 40 that complains constantly. Zaldain is probably the closest to the age group, but I’m guessing he’s over 40.

I eat breakfast with 6-10 guys every weekday. All are 60-85 years old, the 2 oldest guys act like 4 year olds. I don’t know what it is, but the oldest guys can’t just sit there and eat like everyone else, they constantly have to be whining about something. Seems to be the same in fishing, times change, deal with it.

And I’ve said it all along, if you ban 1 item, you need to ban all of it. Notice how nobody wants to ban all the other helpful items, ironic isn’t it. Just ban what you can’t learn.

The bass fishing community isn't small, it's bigger than it ever has been. BASS has been proclaiming that viewership was at record highs last year.

Personally I want to see the best fishermen competing, not the best fishermen from 10 years ago. I don't care what the age of the angler is. If you can compete you stay, if not, you're out.

TFF is Cat-ier than The View. Wonder if more Pro’s would join forums and interact with us, if guys could act with a little civility. It’s a place to provide comments & opinions but not every comment or opinion needs to be provided.

Most of the “AARP” anglers on that list do just fine on Tour without being great at FFS, they just aren’t winning as much or as dominant. If you are annually top 50 on tour then you are still at the top of the game.
