They’re probably not talking about that much on the libtard networks. They regulated the insurance companies from raising their rates on fire insurance, so they all just said screw it, we won’t offer fire insurance. They can probably still get water damage insurance, seeing as how they don’t have any water. Plus #1 on the insurance companies not offering fire insurance due to the State of California's insurance regulations. Side Note: the 20 plus million dollar cut from the LA Fire Dept. Budget by the city council did not help the situation either along with the State Government not keeping the forest clean from under brush.

They can probably still get water damage insurance, seeing as how they don’t have any water. I know for the last several years, maybe the first time I saw it was around 2015, the insurance companies were hiring their own contracted fire engines/crews to go and make sure the insured homes were protected. They were working independently of the other crews assigned to the fire. The reality of things is when these fires emerge, and resources/crews are limited, crews have to triage homes and protect the ones that are able to be saved with limited resources. Too many idiots out there don't prepare for these sorts of events. If you have pine needles on your roof, or around your house, you shouldn't. If i lived out west, or somewhere prone to wildfires, I would live somewhere I could have a well, and I would have a significant sprinkler system that I could activate to protect my property. Heck Ive been to communities that have these installed, the government paid for them. I have a work colleague who lives in a somewhat densely wooded area in NorCal . Never had any issues with getting any type of insurance and has lived in his house for 30+ years . Two years ago , he gets a " non-renewal " letter and doesn't understand . Calls the insurance --- they tell him they have been flying drones over his area to determine how old the tree's are , how close they are to his house , how dense they are around his neighborhood etc..... He was eventually told if he removed 5 or the 6 tree's on his property would be the only way they would insure his house

The more I see of how drones are being used, the less I like them.

My In laws neighbor just ran into some legal trouble. Apparently there is a city law against paving more than "x' percentage of your residential lot. The neighbors lot is on a bit of hill, and he paved a big lot in the back, that isnt visible from the road, he has a small landscaping business on the side, so he has a trailer, skid steer, and a few trucks parked on it, its neat, clean, no problems. this lot backs up to vacant timber land. They found it with a drone flight, and they are trying to get his lot removed, what a stupid waste

Doesn't our "sdavis" live out there on the coast somewhere? I hope he is not in the fire path. Bshort to maybe ? Sdavis lives in northern California in a small town outside SF. He's about 300 miles from the fires. Not sure where bshort lives but it's in CA. The guy that posts all the pictures he takes is in CA too. He posts in bass fishing too. Can't recall his name but he is an actual photographer. I hope all are OK and safe right now. BShort is in the San Diego area I think.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools

Otay will prolly be along shortly to tell us the government went to Mars to build this secret weapon and that they used some type of secret super laser gun that misfired from Mars and did all this.

There may be some sort of appeals process or I guess you could take them to court. They decided to make the changes they wanted.
