Seems like a lot of these fires are started by arsonists or careless people. I remember years ago, West of Nac. here in east TX an ol boy was driving his pickup pulling a trailer with a big charcoal BBQ on it. Somehow those chunks of charcoal started rolling out, heck he started little fires almost all the way to Crockett. It didnt amount to much, it wasn't very dry or windy, but dang, what you doing starting 15 fires, haha.

Irresponsible in the extreme.
Niece lives in a smaller apartment complex in Sherman Oaks. She loads up...gets ready to leave, but since all electricity is out the gate has her locked into the parking area. I would have driven thru the gate arm...but she does not want to ding up her car.

I was watching a fox reporter at noon, he was outside among totally engulfed houses and reporting on this one guy that was running back and forth into his house carrying as much as he could and putting it into his suv. The reporter was just standing there talking and watching. I couldn’t believe he didn’t go over and give the guy some help, it was infuriating. There’s your chance for a great story, fn moron.

Why?..Who'd paid for that? I can say with 100% confidence that it damn sure wasn’t your tax dollars that funded it

Until the wind gets below 15 MPH, I don’t think being able to even slow it down is possible. There is just to much fuel available to keep feeding it.
