Its funny, you can eat a pile of crab and never really get full. Lobster has a tipping point where to me it stops tasting good and you just push the plate away

My SIL and I had an eating contest on lobster. This was probably 15 - 20 years ago. I'll admit she beat me 9-7. These were 1-1.5 lb size.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Used to be a couple of restaurants down in Sabine Pass, Tx that had all you could eat on fried shrimp and fried crab. This was in the 80's. Wawi is right that you could eat crab for hours and not fill up. But eating blue crab is pure work and hard on the lips.

Both are just an expensive way to eat melted butter imo.

I’m out, a young women with a bunch of kids ain’t an even trade off for crab and ribeye.
