Got out to Martin Creek for a bit on New Years Day. On the water about 8:30 am and off about 11:00 am. Water temp was 48° on main lake close to dam. Same setup as before, 1/8th oz jig head with Crappie Magnet salt&pepper color plastic. Was in about 22' of water and fish were all over the water column. From the bottom to suspended at 10'. First fish at 8:40 am and had a limit by 10:50 am. Didn't keep any. Just wanted to catch my first fish of the year on New Years Day. Was hoping for a black nose first, but it was second fish caught. Bite was very consistent and I didn't have to move more than about 20' from where I started.
