I keep it very simple when deciding on when to use these two baits. From what experienced is when the fish are more lethargic, I use the stickbait. When they're a little bit more aggressive and willing to chase, then I throw the fluke. With the stickbait I let it sink to the bottom, and then twitch it off the bottom. With the fluke I twitch it all the way back to me never letting it touch the bottom.
