Every Christmas. But we start out with $10 rather than $3. This year’s winner had $120 in the pot. We also do another one where a gift card is gift wrapped in numerous layers. A Santa hat and oven mittens go on the player while the person to the player’s left keeps rolling a pair of dice. As soon as a pair is rolled the dice, and the hat & mittens and the gift, transfer left. You have to unwrap with the mittens only, no teeth or tabletop help. It’s hilarious. We spend all of our Thanksgivings and Christmases at the girlfriend’s son’s parents-in-law’s house. That whole family is a truly awesome group of people. I’m truly blessed to get to be part of that group.

I am usually not a "game" player, but I really liked this one.

We play a card game called 99 basically you count cards of their numbers to 99 with a twist. All cards go in the middle and you play with both jokers.

We play with jokers to automatically make it 99 not kings and play with money but you can play it however you like, and never played with 2 decks.

We played 5 games Christmas Eve with the kids and grandkids. First time we've done it as a family. Wife won once and I won't twice. It was great watching the grandkids facial and body expressions while we took their money. Had a lot of fun.
