Sorry to hear. He had a good run. I thought he was older 5han 13. The song said he was born in 2010. There is an on going debate on when he was born. I still say he was born in 2010 but his Christmas stocking says otherwise. I don’t know, but I’m going with what Bob said when made the song. Best gift I can ever remember. Thanks Bob

I really wish that when your in this situation you could just have the injection on standby. I’m about to go through the same thing with my bird dog due to cancer. I refuse to haul her to a vet and pay $500 while adding to her anxiety and pain so I will be forced to shoot her.

Sorry to hear mud, it’s a tough thing Thanks. I thought we were there about this time in November but he seemed to get better. I kept nursing him along the best I could but that bastard kept creeping in.

Last night, when he was roaming the bedroom, he kept going to corners of the room and getting stuck/lost and I kept getting up to help him out. I kept blocking off paths that would just let him walk and he kept finding ways to get stuck. If I could have done it in a non-barbarian way I would have set him free. I think he either had a stroke or has demtia.

I’d pay the extra to do it the humane way.

Hoping he goes in peace before I have to take him in tomorrow.. all is calm at the moment. For a bit, it looked like he was having his rabbit chasing dream but I don’t know. The good Lord is calling yet another great pet home. Your memories of Oskar will last a lifetime. A lot of us know the sad feelings for sure. If or when the time is right another dog will cross your path and you can have some more great memories.
