Christmas Eve….and I’m going to work to build a speaker box for a Cadillac. Somehow I feel like this can wait. Specifically since there is no speakers at the shop, it ain’t going anywhere. I feel like I should have just said “I ain’t coming in this week”. I put a new prop on the boat last night….id rather be out on the water.

I have the feeling this speaker box can be cut and assembled in 55 minutes as the batteries on the boat are recharged.

Off all week. Back at work next Monday for two EOY days which should have a lot of last minute BS to address for 2024. 2025 looks like a bear at work. They have more idiocracy going on than you can believe.
Three more years and I am done. It’s gotten to the point if I had more years left I would be looking at other opportunities. People with time left aren’t going to have it near as good as we did across our careers. I think I can make the 3 years. Days of the Operator are gone. It’s all business management BS these days. I learned 95% of what I know operationally from being in the field. 5% from being in the office and thru training. Now we are in the office 80%+ of the time.
Other than that things are pretty good. Made it to 62 healthy so that’s great.

Been off work since last Thursday until January 2nd. Had to burn the rest of my vacation days. I'll start the new year with about 7 weeks worth of time off. Other than the 40 hours carried over that I have to use by end of Q1 I'll probably take the rest when I retire this summer.
