I’m wearing Sketchers Slipons right now. They are very comfortable and will make a lazy SOB outta ya pretty fast! roflmao

But….ya still gotta bend over to put on socks, so I guess there is still some touch of the toes required.

The best way to tie your shoes is during your morning valve movement. You're already in position, plus you'll save time.

I wear Bates duty boots at work that have side zippers so don't have to tie them. On the rare occasions I wear tennis shoes. Yes.

I'm right there with you. I even still use a Chemex pot to make my coffee. Talk old school - this thing was invented in the 1940s and still makes the best tasting coffee, from whole beans that I grind myself.

I’m coming over for coffee. That sounds awesome.

I tie them once. Just lose enough to slip on but tight enough they don't feel like I am wearing house shoes.

Hoka has been the most comfortable and best arch support of any tennis shoe I have ever owned. For any manufacturer a few of their shoes are better than others. Those On shoes are good too. I can have Plantar Fasciitis if I get away from good arch support very long. I wear arch inserts in most of them most of the time.

My rank most to least comfort / support :

Hoka
On
Brooks
Sketcher
New Balance
Nike

Around the house it’s the Hey Dude. They are comfortable but horrible for your feet if you need arch support. I don’t walk a lot when I have them on. If I do then it’s tennis shoes.

Doubled knots so they don’t come undone.

I do most things the hard way for the muscle movement and exercise.
