I have 3 of these for my trolling motor and they are now 4 years old. Just wanted to know what you guys have experienced for how long they last? So far, no problems, but I know I'm on borrowed time.

I had 4 Group 31's in my last boat. They were almost 5 years old when I sold it and still going strong. Talked to the guy who bought it from me 2 years later and they were still holding up.

Charge em right after you use them and they will last forever. I pull 10-20 amps max on a 8-12 hr day. 4 years on mine and as good, voltage-wise, as the day I bought em. Ghost 24 volt. Ranger 188

Legit batteries! Boat I sold this year had em and they were still solid after 3 or 4 years.

Ranger 188 This was my philosophy on 3 Odyssey batteries I paid good money for. They gave me 3 years. Boy was I wrong. I have been running a Duracell cranking battery for over 4 years and itโs been going strong. Worth noting that I do not have any electronics on it.

I've been using these same batteries since 2019. I had 3 in my boat, 1 for cranking, 2 for 24v TM. They will run my livewells, 2 - Lowrance Carbon 12, and start my Merc 150HP. They are still going strong to this day. I've ran them hard for 10 hours and didn't see any sign of them slowing down. This coming year I will be replacing them with Lithium as I plan to make my boat state of the art in electronics w/ FFS. Already working on replacements 1 - Ionic 125ah 12v 2 - Ionic 100ah 12v

Anyone use their cranking battery? And if so, which one? I was using the same 31 series I used on the trolling motor and it worked fine. Had an issue that initially thought was battery related so I had to change to another brand because that was all that was available. Gave the battery to buddy who put on his boat as cranker and it's worked fine for him for a year. It was fine for me for 2 years before I gave it to him.

The Sam's Duracell AGM along with most other Marine labeled AGM's are dual purpose.

I just pulled mine out because I got a smoking deal on Lithiums.
They were 6 years old and still going.

I had an Interstate AGM and it almost made 4 years and quit, so I went with the Ionic because I added two 12" Carbon's as well and felt if I were to add FFS then the 125ah would be the best choice. What made you decide on the 100ah rather than the 50ah?

My Duracell agm 31's are 5 years old now. No problems yet. We purchased a set for my son's boat recently when his "lifetime warranty" lithium crapped the bed and could not find the AGM 31 in stock at any Sams. Ended up getting some from Batteries Plus but they are substantially more expensive. In line with other AGM 31's but more expensive than Sams.

Did you look at the website to see if they were in stock, my experience has been when it comes to those they don't do a good job of updating site. When i got my last ones they showed to not have them. I walked in and they had a bunch.

What made you decide on the 100ah rather than the 50ah? I found one heck of a deal on the 100ah batteries that I couldn't pass up. $350 & $400. They are $600 new, so I jumped on it while I had the cash.

I guess I'm the outlier here. I bought the duracell from Sam's because of all the great reviews (and price). I got two years out of mine and left me stranded in one tournament. I was on the same battery maintenance program I've been on for the last 35 years. Even had a brand new charger!

Nothing is 100 percent, prior to these I had a bunch of interstates over the years, had a few of them [censored] the bed out of nowhere.

It's a 92 amp hour battery. I use them for my TM and rarely pull more that 10-15 amps. I dont know if I'd want a 27 for cranking, but for the TM, they are money

Nah, 3x 27 EverStart marine deep cycles for trolling, the Duracell AGM 31 is for cranking. I'm averaging about 3-4 years per EverStart.
