yes.. this is just crazy. I'm not sure how they came up with this type of charging, but maybe Biden's DOJ is involved as they found out Ben voted for Trump.

Could TPWD be handling the drone situation also? I haven’t heard anything about this, what happened? Just poking fun at TPWD for being about as adapt as the Feds for handling things

I see it two ways.
1. When he was fined and his fish DQ’d, his name should have been removed from the 2 x $5k drawings. End of story, right.
2. He was fined, fish was DQ’d; but he INTENTIONALLY lied on the SAL application. OK, make an example out of him I suppose. Maybe the state will finally get tough on tournament cheaters like R Rose.
And when I say “intentionally”, I mean that he knew his license was expired and tried to sneak it by. Intent has to be proven... Considering that he hasn't published a public statement yet, some folks are posting pure speculation.

Does anyone know when money started being involved? I had no idea everybody that turns in a 13 pounder is fishing a tournament or contest. I genuinely did not know money was involved at all. Is this new? I’m assuming they incentivized it because they want participation and have killed some fish and it’s a pretty controversial program.

Is this new? I’m assuming they incentivized it because they want participation and have killed some fish and it’s a pretty controversial program. Sharelunker does two drawings annually for $5000 gift cards to Bass Pro Shop. One drawing is for all fish over 8 pounds entered and the second is for fish weighing over 13 pounds.

DON’T do it, they might find out that you didn’t have your kill switch hooked up and you’ll end up in the clink.

It was legal too. 3 classes 8+ Lunker 10+ Elite Class 13+ Legend Class I entered a 12 a few years ago and that year someone with an 8 won. Caught several over 8 since but never entered. If I ever catch a teener I will.
