Funny.... U ok with everyone using their brights on the road, and lifted trucks blinding you too? Should you just not travel during times when cars are on the road. And what time is that? yeah sounds simple.

I don't get raised blood pressure from these happenings, but it is such an easy fix, all It takes is to just be aware of where you are and what your doing. And own what your doing. Simple ask. And something everyone should be doing in all areas of there life. Headlights at boat ramps helps no one. guys leaving lights on when they get there boat ready. helps no one. Backing down a ramp with your headlights/foglights on,... helps no one.

It did not use to be such a problem and just something getting worse. Prolly the because of the automatic light switches.

exactly it's the guys pointing up the ramp with their trailer in the water that's bad and inconsiderate. What do you think of guys backing down in gear instead of neutral....I think all the mishaps from trucks going in the lake is because the truck was in gear......

Found the one that is most likely one of the inconsiderate guilty ones.

I don't understand how those think lights shining onto a ramp is ok? Even shining them out on the water. It blinds you just as much.....especially when your pulling out. At Rayburn guys leave there lights on shining them onto the beaching area when they are staging, you cannot see where your beaching. Neither is a helping anyone. I would be nice if everyone understood to turn off head lamps and fog lights in the boat ramp area. Just generally be aware of what your doing.

Just curious how you keep the trailer backup lights on without the transmission in reverse.

That’s funny I’ve had same issues.

I have been blinded by guys at the ramp several times. I try not to do the same. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram and when you put it in gear the head lights turn on automatically. I turn the switch to the parking lights setting but the headlights turn on when I pull up the ramp anyway. I do the best I can.

Part of my co angler talk in the morning is how to operate the lights. I do miss how Chevy would automatically turn lights off, if they are left on. Ford does not have this feature on my truck.

First world problems. It’s almost as annoying as Merc 4-Stroke guys starting their mini v8 right before it hits the water as they back down. roflmao

lol i think my feelings on this subject are clear. I'm pretty sure there is more dumbassery per square foot that goes on at boat ramp than anywhere else in world. From Lights to the guy that cant start engine because his boat is a POS and it should be at shop instead of ramp, the guys who back down ramp then have to do everything to their boat and unload 29 things from truck including their ice chest full of 47 sandwiches........ throw in the guys who cant back in a trailer but decide they will learn in the dark at ramp during a tournament, domestic disturbances at ramp caused by trying to let wife back the truck in. Lets not forget Kayakers, ramps are for adult boats, take your little plastic toys and go to the park or something. I think thats a fairly comprehensive list. I'm sure i forgot some other act of ramp douchery......

1 more...... I dont care that you no habla pinche english..... the ramp and courtesy dock is for launching boats not fishing.
