That is definitely some great Fall color! I probably missed the peak color by a week or two but it was still pretty enough that it was hard not to take pictures.

JR It's a Headwaters Bamboo Rod Co. Santium River, 7-1/2 foot, four weight rod that my wife bought me as a birthday present almost twenty years ago. The reel came with the rod as a package. If I remember correctly the rid company makes the reels also. It's a great little rod for the Blue with all the crawling around you have to do if you want to get away from the crowds and all the overhanging trees and brush that cover the river as well. When my wife gave it to me I told her that I wasn't going to hang it on a wall stow it in a closet, that I was going to FISH with it. I have used it pretty much exclusively on the Blue for nearly twenty years and have not had a problem with the rod or reel.
