Had a TomRom kinda start to the morning. Left the house at 4:30 am ...turned the corner & the boat & trailer came off the ball and rammed the back of my truck. I guess I didn't get the trailer all the way over the ball...what a dummy ! Can you say "deductible"...Tried to lift it from the pavement to the ball & just don't have the strength...but...to big muscular guys stopped & lifted it like it was a feather...What a blessing these guys were !

Got to the lake around 7:30 & fished til around 1:30. Fishing was real slow today, but did manage to get 8 in the boat. Talked to a guy at the ramp who was skunked, so didn't feel so bad. A couple were pretty nice, but nothing over 5 lbs. Water temp today was 63 degrees in most areas & 73 degrees at the discharge. All fish caught on a 1/4 oz Harmony jig with a 5" Yum Dinger rigged Texas rig style. Most fish caught early...once the bluebird skies hit it was tough to get a bite...

The mental fortitude to go on about your day, and spend hours fishing instead of letting it ruin your day is very admirable. And some nice fish to boot!
