I like North Carolina, South Carolina, parts of Georgia, Northwest Arkansas, parts of Tennessee.
But I'll never move out of Texas. This is home.

We picked E. Tennessee... Liking it so far... Second choice was E. Texas but the wife wouldn't move that far from the grandkids... Kentucky Lake area was third... The asian carp invasion gave me second thoughts... They say there are 17 lakes and reservoirs within an hour of the house, haven't branched out yet but good to know they are there... Dan

south Georgia has good fishing on seminole & eufaula plus pretty close to good salt water fishing.. and good dove hunting...climate is favorable just have to be careful what town you live in...demographics/crime/schools not good in some towns....if i was going to leave south Georgia,I'd seriously consider south Texas near Zapata for the fishing and dove hunting...(I'd have to have a guarantee from James at Falcon Tackle that he would cook me up some of his BBQ brisket every now and then)...

I've lived in Oklahoma and Louisiana and both of those would be a NO.
I've also road tripped over the vast majority of the USA and IF I ever wanted to move from Texas then western Kentucky would be the place. Beautiful country, fantastic lakes and nice folks. Pilothawk moved from these parts to that area several years ago.
Family is everything! Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.
