Rule #1...no weekend fishing & rule #2...fish from daybreak til noon. Well, last week the wind $ucked & it was cold as heck early this morning, so today we broke a few rules & dealt with the holiday crowd.
Also, had a super nice weather day (overcast & light breeze). To top it off I got to meet Anthony at the ramp, and fish for a few hours with Alan, so it turned out to be a really fun Saturday on the lake. We fished from 11 am until 5:15 pm and ended up with 28 bass & one shad, ...The bite was pretty consistent, but around 5 pm was the best , with the biggest one caught then. Water temp was in the 60s in most areas & the water is still down about a foot for the winter. The big girls haven't really moved in yet, but it won't be long now...maybe 2-3 weeks...hoping anyway...

I guess weekends can't be that bad in the fall and winter. Lots of photos near the dam. Is that where you caught the most fish?

Thanks everyone...Morning bite & evening bite are usually the best. I usually fish morning so I don't get home so late. Barry...It was a fun day...Alan usually has me laughing so hard it's sometimes hard to concentrate on the fishing.
