Yep, I know this pain. Dead blow hammer to straighten a bent prop shaft?, thought they had to put it in a machining tool to stretch it back square.

My two cents anything beyond about a .030 bend I'd probably just have them replace it.

I’ll use my dial on it this evening. I don’t think it’s bent. I was told to put a ball point pen in the dimple in the center of the shaft and spin the prop. The pen in the dimple will highly accentuate any out of alignment when you hold the pen in with one finger by the other end.

It’s straight as it ever was. I ran my pencil test….couldn’t feel anything. I put my dial indicator on it and turned it…..
.00075” runout. Almost dead on perfect. Well within spec.
The prop isn’t that bad. But it does have to get repaired.
