Does anyone have any experience with these?

I'm considering going down this outdoor lighting rabbit hole in an effort to never hang Christmas lights again. Plus, I would use it for other occasions like 4th of July and parties.

I have one continously roof line thats about 440', a 14' 2nd floor section, and the 2nd floor itself is 80'. Looking to do soffit only. I think they are intended for soffits only anyway.

Thanks

I was looking at getting JellyFish Lights, until they quoted me an astronomical price.

$6400

I tried the Govee. It was wonderful, until it wasn't. The Texas heat took a toll on it. The 3M tape started cutting loose. I ended up ripping it all down. Put up in November, took down in June. I did get a full refund, without mailing it back. Bought through Amazon.

My neighbor has those. They're cool, but not $5500 cool.

Mine too. I really don’t like them outside of holidays.

That's about what my quote was. I was expecting 1/3 that - interesting idea, crazy price

I had Trimlight quote me like $2300 for my front of house, I have a turret and High Roof angles and two storys.

It was so reasonable I had them take the lights down both side of my house, I think I paid around 5K.

I called out like a Christmas Light company

The Christmas light people wanted $2K for lights and installation, and then like another $750 per year after that.

Anybody else think that permanent Christmas lights are cool AF? I never knew there was such a thing until y'all started talking about it.

The prices are serious, though. Beats cheap lights tripping the breaker when it rains.

I have the lemon nova outdoor lights. They work great saying that I wish I would have bought the govee lights. My buddy had some and you can do much more with them. If they have some Black Friday deals I will buy some and give my other lights to my son. I would by the clips that screw into the house due to the Texas heat.
