Here's a funny story...

When we moved here in 2019, we bought 2.5 acres and I was push mowing the first 2 months as I was shopping for a riding mower. When I found one in our price range and met the size I was looking at, I picked it up and put it in the garage. When the Mrs arrived, I told her to meet me in the garage where I proceeded to blare that song and ride out on the Deere lawn tractor.

She thought my tractor was sexy.

AHAHHAHAHAHA

music as changed for sure but none of it is like the 60-70's music. I like the old stuff whether Country, rock, pop or Christian it's all changed since then. I don't care for rap or any of that gross stuff.

Look at what most churches sing today versus what they sang in the 50's-60's

soje is good some not so much but it would sale if someone didn't like it. We can run down Garth Brooks or Taylor Swift but they are both billionaires from their music and concerts. They did something right.

I love the 70's rock and country the best. I like today's christian the best. I don't listen to a lot fo the new stuff so I really don't know what it sounds like but the little I have heard it's not bad some of it. I take Merle Haggard Johnny Cash and George Jones along with Linda Ronstadt, Loretta Lynn for old country and a few more. I like a lot of the rock bands from the 70's and Boston, Kansas, along with the Eagles. I have gotten to where a lot of that music and the back story to some of the old bands is very good to me. Kansas if you have never seen Miracles out of nowhere is a great documentary Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, are just a couple more I have grown to like even more now after watching documentaries on those guys. The talent in these bands is even better than I remembered.

Most of you would hate my playlist. I listen to all genres of music. A good song, is a good song. No matter what category it gets placed in.

Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

The independent side of the genre is alive and well. There's also a lot going on behind the scenes that will hopefully push it more to the forefront. I've had multiple conversations over the last week with those in the know. Stuff is stirring for 2025.

This is one of my current favorites. A compilation or tribute by George Jones and Randy Travis.
