These are very good rods. Except for some old glass rods that I've had for many years, all my movement baits go on Crankin' Sticks. Spinner bait, crank bait, chatter bait, top water, buzz bait. Anything I wind.

If I could find some more of the old Wright/McGill Rick Clunn blue glass crank bait rods, I would buy them. I'm down to 3 now. I really like those old rods. They are heavy and dead, but feel just right in my hands. I can handle up to a 6XD on them.

I too use crankin sticks whatmodel do you use for spinnerbaits? What length ?
Bought a 7.3 heavy for chatterbaits works great also thrown buzz bait too.
I’ve got four with cork black blank blue lettering guess they were first gen they’ve been great but looking at the newer version.

I recently got the Falcon Lowrider Cranker II for 5XD and 6XD. Great rod for that.

Medium action Ugly Stick! Had them since the 90's.They are heavy, but those bigguns can't jump off! I caught a 6.5 with a 5XD in a tournament a few weeks ago because my fancy cranking rods were broken.

Reneau Tackle Power Point 550. Great for 5xd, 6xd, Chatterbait, mag square bills as well. I have the 7’8” model but they make it in several lengths.

10’ surf rod, if you can’t spool the entire reel, you’re doing it wrong.

You really need to start fishing again. You are getting delirious since Choke dried up. If you’re off next week, holler, I’ll take you so you can knock the cob webs off those pistol grips!
