For those of you that use the devil scope and throw the dreaded, jig head minner, what minner and size you throwing? I know Deps Sakamata is the popular one, what other sneaky, less expensive options are there?

Hog Farmer has a new bait out called the Stroll Shad. Has flat sides and is supposedly better than the Spunk Shad for strolling.

The HookUp has some of the Raid Fish Roller baits available.

Tackle Warehouse has the Raid Fish Roller and Hog Farmer Stroll Shad in stock.

+1, And looks like a good alternative to a Sakamata.

I don't see many of the pros using them, but when bass are roaming in packs of 10 to 15 fish chasing bait like they are now, I've found that a Jigging Rap works really well. With no plastic to slow it down, it sinks faster and I have a better chance of hitting the moving target. I usually catch one immediately if I can land it over them, but they wise up to it quickly. That's when you can catch another one or 2 on the jig with a plastic body. I'm always trying to figure out which of those is best.

I bought a couple of packs the other day. Haven't used them yet but they look great.

Someone posted 15 packs for $50 on BBC this afternoon. Couldn't resist.

When you get em and think you could shed a few packs, let me know. I was about an hour late on that one.

Pathetic...

Just use real live minners with a slip float like real bass fisherman.
