I question the casualty counts. Let me be clear about that. I think they are inflated 3 or 4 times. The Ukrainians document EVERYTHING. Basically, every single kill/causality is online for anyone to view. Man, or machine there are either pictures or videos with embedded meta data from phones so you can see the locations/times etc... It would be a difficult task to go back and count everything at this point, but it's not a difficult task to check the numbers they put out yesterday and will put out today. Many people do and they are always extremely close. You can find these websites easily enough or get on twitter and see for yourself. Hundreds of Russians getting killed are posted daily. Very grim. Now what we don't know is how many Ukrainians are getting killed. I have no clue. Yup well I still don't believe the numbers. Why not the media ALWAYS TELLS THE TRUTH LMAO I DONT believe anything coming from that actor thug president from Ukraine Or Putin Putin is a thug no doubt about it But his people love him and he isn’t necessarily wrong about taking Ukraine back so he can feed the Russian people I don’t really care I just am tired of funding this BS we never should have Either Russia is not as weak as people would like us to believe and they will win this or they are and we sure shouldn’t haven’t been there in the first place funding this BS The argument we helped weaken them if they are so weak how did our cia. Not know Russia has nukes if Putin chooses they won’t lose to Ukraine

All of our most trusted technology has been sold to China. Even Harbor freight copies Snap-On.
China is a not so secret buddy to Russia. Russia likes stealing chit and churning it out like they invented it.
There's a Russian YouTube channel, Garage 54. They advertise German made engine oil. While messing with engines that are copy of the old Ford Y block. Their military celebrates everything male. While ours are bending over for each other while saying, 'Muh rainbow flag".
Have you seen our soldiers? The 5'5" tall Mexican women that are also fat?
Yeah, let's poke the bear. Smart move. Really smart move.

His people fear him, they don't love him. Russia has an abundance of land to produce enough food for it's people with modern farming techniques. For decades, Putin was the head of the Russian gestapo in charge of terminating any free speech or suspected activity counter to the Party line. He's the best at lies, deception, and brutality....these are not lovable qualities.
He wants the Ukraine for strategic reasons. Ironically, his primary goal was to halt the spread of NATO farther east....this has backfired on him, as his offensive in the Ukraine has resulted in Finland and Sweden joining NATO within the last year.....and Bosnia, Herzegovina, Georgia, and the Ukraine applying for membership.

The russian people approve of putin as you can see in link below, and most of there food come from the ukraine area to Serbia areas of russia when the mob took ukraine you just took about 40% of the area that use to supply food to the russian people. Russia had to go buy food to replace that supply and didn't have the abilities to feed its people because the country was broke in the early 90's through the 2000. The oil price increase gave russia/putin the money to go get what they believe was and is their land they built up over last 500 years. The russian people were hurgry which is why they backed Putin going to get it back. I have no idea if they still believe in it but nothing in world news shows the russian people are not still behind it. Putin hasn't nuke it so far because there are a lot of russian people there and he wants the land to feed his people. When or if it ever gets to him deciding he isn't going to win I think he will nuke it to keep the world from getting it since he believes its russian land. We will see if you ever been to china or russia you would know these people do not look at their countries like Americans do. I thought the first time I went to China I was going to see miserable people instead I saw very content people that loved their families and there country. They believe in what their country is doing because they are doing better. Chinese people in 2001 were making about .25 cents a hour working in the factories and were happy. They were up to about 1.5 dollars a hour in 2012 so in about ten years they got about 5 times more money. I wonder how we would feel if we got five times more money then we had ten years ago. They are getting into the capitalism in last twenty years and they like it. I only say all of this because just because as Americans we believe we are better than them doesn't mean they believe the same. They are fighting for their country just like we do. We believe we are smarter than them and know what's best for them and they really don't give a dang what we think. They will continue to put back what they think is their country. They don't care if we don't agree. WE wouldn't care what anyone thought say if Russia decided to put nukes in cuba or if Texas decided to leave and we went and started a war to get them back.
I will say if Texas did that I sure wouldn't blame them they have better politics for the most part and for the most part take care of their people. I would ask Sarah to try and joint Texas. I am not trained to fight but I would come help all I could.
let russia have their bread basket back screw the russian mob who took it in the early 90's when they couldn't defend themselves. I guarantee you if Putin had been over Russia back them we wouldn't be having this discussion today.

During the USSR era, Russia primarily sourced most of its food from the "chernozem" (black earth) belt, a fertile region stretching across southern Russia, through Ukraine, into the eastern parts of Siberia, which produced a large variety of crops including cereals, cotton, sugar beets, potatoes, and flax.

Then why the chatter about rare earth minerals being abundant in the area?
As always it's lithium. I truly don't know. What I do know. Western mainstream media (all of it) cherry picks garbage and has a huge portion of the population in a trance. It's OK to oppose War.
Nothing the media puts out can be trusted to be true. I highly doubt Russia has taken anywhere the loss and beating. As portrayed. This should hit home to you. It's gonna be Your children, friends, and relatives fighting it. Not the people on the TV.
Don't you ever get tired of the USA invading something, all the time?

I never mined when we were helping our allies. We are protecting russians against russians. how stupid is that? both sides would bomb our dumbazz every day going forward if given the chance. other than England and Israel we have never really had good allies. you just can't buy allies or friends if we had done what Paton and MacArthur wanted we wouldn't have these problems right now. maybe we would have later but they wouldn't be here today if we hadn't help rebuild them back then. Israel always had to keep fighting its foes because it didn't do what God wanted back then either. americans for the most part have a great heart for people one of its greatest assets one of its worse assets is it's heart for people. We don't know when to finish the job.

Having spent time in Russia, l can honestly say the people there do like Putin. To them, he represents a return of strength that was lacking. And while their economy is just a step above a 3rd world country's, it has been fairly stable. While l was there (2006-2008), the older generation were not happy with the "new Russia"...they preferred to go back to the days of the USSR. I found that mind boggling. Those people have pretty much died off by now, so l'm sure that mindset went with them.

Nobody in their right minds would want to be led and represented by an egomaniacal power hungry con man. It’s depends on the choices we have/had-
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

The biggest standout of this war to me is we are at another one of those points in history where technology has outpaced tactics in warfare. The last point in time when this happened was in WWI, when the tactics of advancing in lines met with machine guns, and forts were met with heavy artillery guns.
Now we have thermal drones dropping grenades on entrenched troops, and swarm drone attacks deep behind battle lines. It is really terrifying. It is indeed scary. Glad to hear the US is investing heavily in Anti Drone technology. I've been stunned at how difficult it is to shoot the drones down with standard long guns. Apparently, it's near impossible because the Russians rarely even seem to try. They'd rather throw sticks, shoot themselves, or just lay down and take it than try and shoot at them. It actually would be a very difficult shot. Drones are deceptively small targets. Most of their footprint is hollow; to shoot it down you have to hit the center mass which is about the size of a squirrel. And you are shooting up in the air, so you are basically aiming unsupported at a moving target. And when you are shooting up it messes with the ballistics so your gun that is zeroed for level targets may be off when pointing straight up. All in all, just a terrible situation for the grunt on the ground. Kinda like hunting teal
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Shooting straight up or up really at all beyond say a 45 degree is tricky with a rifle. Very difficult actually. Then add in its a very small target and moving very fast... waste of ammo to shoot at such a thing. Unless you are in a movie you aint hitting it. If you did it would be dumb luck.
Now, if you had a shot gun and it was close... maybe.
