Fished 5 hours yesterday afternoon, we boated 12 bass best 5 pushing 20 lbs. Tons of dead water between bites and quite possibly every duck hunter in north Texas was there.

8 hours of hard fishing on BDA today… not many boats on the lake. 3 trailers at the south ramp parking lot at 8am and only 2 there at 4pm. TOUGH bite for us, not much sun and the water dropped 6 degrees overnight. Ended up scoping to salvage the day. Another dozen or so fish but man we had to work for em.

So that’s it, 13 hours over 2 days, We caught around 24 bass and a couple big catfish. Baits…. flipping, chatter, swimbait, pop r, buzzbait, scope minnow.

Starting around Feb 1, 2025, we will have a barndo available near Telephone. It sleeps 6 very comfortable (3-bedroom 2 bath) and has full kitchen, grills, boat hook ups etc. Plenty of room for several boats. You can text or call Rich at 903-271-3924

It was 64 the Sunday before last. With all these cold fronts I would guess upper 50s now.

If anyone knows of any campsites with full hookups being developed close to the lake I would like to know. Planning a trip there next May and considering taking my 5th wheel.

Thanks - Dan
