A really good friends birthday is today. He hasn't been in the military. Wished him an awesome birthday and he wished me a happy veterans day.

My father was an AF Captain and Navigator on tankers in the 50-60’s. I retired from USAF in 93. Happy Veterans Day!

Longest, most boring 6 months of my life. Two aircraft and four crews burning holes in the skies of Afghanistan at FL300, providing 24hr surveillance, collecting pattern of life on one Bowe Berghdahl… 16-17hr sorties with 12hrs on station every other day. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/11/full-28262-248850-uuid881141da_3020_412a_86d3_71f5c833520ccode001library1type1mode1loctruecaptrue.jpeg) Thanks to all the other vets!
