Ukraine has pretty much been under Russian control since the 14 century and pretty much under russian government rule since 18th century.

Russian mob took several states or countries after Reagan bankrupt Russia in the early 80's. The early 90's russia was so weak the mob just took the countries over.

I guess if Russia is really as weak as some want to say then we could or should have been able to walk through Russia anyway. There was never a reason to spent 100's of billions of money/weapons to beat a country that is so weak after giving 80 billion to the terrorist when the failed exit happen. We have given trillions to this total BS by the democrats.

Because NATO had been saber rattling (for almost 15 years) in regards to inviting Ukraine into NATO. Something of which Putin stated was a red line for Russia. (you can research his reasoning quite easily, as well as the Warhawks reasoning)

There is also this thing called the Budapest Memorandum in case anyone doesn't know about it they can google it. In a nutshell it was a deal to give up their nuclear weapons for a sovereignty guarantee. I don't think we are holding up our promise on that and Putin certainly did not. I am 100% Republican by the way.
