My favorite play of the game was when Tolbert ran down the field on a post route and never turned his head around. Even Romo said “ “I just can’t figure out what the kid was doing, he looked like he was covering a punt “

The nobody seems to give a damn isn’t working. Maybe they need a few locker room scraps to piss some players off and have something to prove. At this point it appears the majority have checked out.

The really weird thing is in the interview last night Jerry said he doesnt want to hear anyone stepping up and taking responsibility. He said that stuff never works....

If Parsons just wanted to pay homage to Zack Martin why did he need to bring up Mike McCarthy? That was a clear shot at the coach. I think McCarthy is in over his head given Jerry's meddling and poor management of the roster, but there is no excuse for a so-called "leader" to air his grievances halfway through the season. It's like he is trying to separate himself from the problem, throwing his coach under the bus to make himself look better. He was ask about Mike McCarthy, why the hell did the reporter ask parsons about it, it was poor taste imo, they should be asking questions about the game, not the contract of the head coach, some more media bs. Yes, a silly question by the reporter, and an emotional, silly answer by Parsons. The player can refuse to answer a question from a reporter. And reporters can have their credentials revoked if they’re a constant nuisance in the locker room. But, given the situation this season and Jerry’s “all-in” statement prior to the season, it’s not far-fetched to ask a question like that. An NFL player needs to be savvy enough to not answer a question about whether his head coach should be fired in the middle of the season in the middle of a losing streak.

Been a long time since a Cowboys QB looked as bad as the 2 fellows who lined up for the Cowboys. They combined for below average Quincey Carter stats.

How was it a silly answer, all he said was he felt bad for Zack Martin, someone who had put more work in than McCarthy, since Zack been here 10 yers and Mike only 5 that sounds pretty understandable. he also said Mike can go on and continue to coach, Zack will not be playing much longer, at least that is the way I understood it, I am sure Parsons will clarify what he meant if he has not already done so, McCarthy sure did not seem upset about what was said in his interview today, I think it was blown out of proportion by the media as usual.

I don't think Parsons finishes his career in Dallas. Ials9 think he ends up holding out on his new deal too. One of those big drama, fight it out in the media holdouts.

A lot of former players called him out today. He's petty enough that he will respond to each one and fire up some social media drama.

If Jerry is alive he certainly will... he'll probably give him a billion over 10 years 2 minutes before kickoff on opening day.... and let him play defense all by himself...("had to fit the budget") ..it'd get great ratings... hehe

Without even thinking too much I know of 3 HOF players who did not finish career with the Cowboys, Emmet, Dorsett, Ware, and before long Tyrone Smith, I think Emmett had one of those big drama hold outs too.

As long as his jersey sales and pod cast numbers are good; Jerry will back up the cash truck for Parsons.

So you liked the question? Because the sense I got from your post was that it was a bad question by the reporter that led to a bad answer by Parsons.
