It also can help see how the middle to lower tier players that are needed to fill a roster play for someone else. It will help identify some that you keep and some that you can let walk.

Honestly the best thing for this team is to lose every single game to improve draft position. If the team were to rally around an assistant coach it would only hurt their draft position. I say burn this MFer down, lose every game and let’s start clean with someone new.

Then in 3-4 yrs we can watch it all happen again unless the Jones family does us all a solid and sells the team.

I agree. I don't think firing MM will change anything at all except maybe a little less locker room drama possibly. I also have my doubts that a new HC next year is really gonna fix tge team. I think it's Jerry that is the real issue.

From ESPN article:

"Sunday's loss marked the fifth straight home game the Cowboys have trailed by 20 or more points, including the playoffs. That is an NFL record and speaks to how the season has gone."

I'm not even sure who you draft at this point in the offseason? If you have an early pick it still makes sense to me to go QB because Dak isn't the solution and it's easier to improve at other positions with later round picks in next couple of years, but at this point the team is so devoid of talent in so many places that sticking a young QB waiting in the wings of a talent-limited team for 3 years isn't a good idea either.

Dark days from the 10 pro bowler team last year.

Micah Parsons sure went scorched earth in the locker room after the game. It will be interesting to see how MM and Jerry deal with him after that.

They should have moved him before trade deadline. He is always gonna be a distraction, let him go be a distraction in new England or the Jets, maybe Chicago. This crew isn't gonna work out and scorched earth is probably the best idea at this point. They will end up giving him a giant deal and teams will continue to run the ball down cowboys throat.

I do not see that at all, the media twist [censored] just like they did with the election, maybe what he was trying to say did not come across very well but that was not his intentions imo. Parsons speaks his mind, I have no problem with that, its not like he is some dam hoodlum that is on drugs and in trouble with the law all the time, he is one of the top 2 or 3 defensive players in the NFL, trading him would just be dumb, the only way this team is ever going to be good enough to win anything is with a dominate defense , jmo.
