Carhartt isn't the same as it was. I just experienced one of their insulated vests.

It's nothing like they use to be made. How incredibly sad.

Carhartt and Wrangler are both “urban” wear now. They can have them both.

Ironed overalls, clean boots, nice watch, nice shirt, with matching ball cap. That's dressed up for me. Any higher and I'm pulling my tan colored Wranglers out. Shoe polish on the boots. Dress shirt.

I even hang my overalls up.

Yes sir, same for my hometown. Only the cap was a seed cap. Anything else was unacceptable. Most wore a pair of redwings or something similar and after 10:00 am coffee at the local cafe, everyone walked around with at least one leg caught in the top of their boots. Good times.

Since losing weight I've had to replace every-thing I have to include cold weather stuff. I'm finding out most of it has turned cheap.

I'm currently shopping for a pullover, 1/4 zip, hoodie. Looking at Under Armour. But I'm scared I'm going to regret and I'm tired of going to the UPS store. I'll slow down and will walk through the sections of Academy I usually don't visit. See what's up with the higher dollar stuff.

There's a Cavender's in town. Ill see what's up there too.

I don't believe it's going to be a very cold winter so a nice hoodie should do it.

Skip all that and just go to Kohls. You might be surprised. You can get a nice wardrobe for cheap

I'm willing to pony up for something nice. Something I can keep for years.

I'm willing to do $50-$150. With nothing over $200.

(The clothes are an award for losing the weight. I want nice stuff. I still have things I can change the oil in the car in.)

Proper etiquette requires bib overalls to be worn bass-akwards. Buck Owens in the old Hee-Haw shows is a good example.

I have been convinced to buy a pair of denim biballs.
Thinking about sporting them at the club tourney this weekend.

I have two pair of them, this thread made me wear them to work today. Being in the pipe fitters trade lots of Bib Overalls going on here. Dickies for the win.
