funny if Jerry was a CEO of any other company he would be fired if for no other reason, then letting an employee getting him over a barrel to where he had no choice but to overpay a middle of the road employee. This is what Dak did to the cowboys, folks if for nothing else it's easy to admire Dak for his business savvy. He got Jerry to sign the first contract were he couldn't be traded or having the tag put on him to stay with the team. Dak has ruined the cowboys from a financial standpoint to win a championship. The quarterbacks who want to win big time, are either really good or take a little less so they can afford to surround them like Brady did. Mahomes is just a talent like we have probably never seen before or in the future. Dak is just a bigger con artist and a much better businessman than Jerry is. Jerry hired a quarterback who mirrors himself for putting money above wins. Dak put himself in a position to take Jerry on second contract if he can be average or a little above average. Dax did to Jerry what Jerry has done to the NFL fans. I don't blame Dak he took the money and a lot of it. That is the main reason 90% play sports for a living, that is the money. I do not believe very many play sports for a profession except for the money. The brady's and mahomes's are just a different breed of player.
I don't think it all dak's fault he played the boss for money but this is not a super bowl winning player.
Last night you got to see two NFL quarterbacks without their main offensive weapons still put their teams on their backs and play a excellent game. I think either quarterback playing last night are better than Dak with same weapons. Baker lost both of his pro bowl receivers and played Mahomes to a great game. What if the cowboys lose their two best recievers will dak play mahomes to a game like that with a chance to win with two minutes left in the game. They’re isn't a chance in heck dak plays Mahomes like Baker did last night with same weapons. Think about that baker who most don't even think is good, has been the underdog, at TT,OU, and going into the NFL he kept playing with the same underdog to now have a pretty good team when healthy.
Dak got what dak went to the NFL for the money, he's just a better businessman than Jerry, or at least Dak's agent is. LOL

Its about the money for most all the players, coaches, owners, has been that way for a long time. You cannot blame Dak for getting what the market will allow, he will not be the highest paid QB in a few months, just the way it works, i think it is bs that next man up gets the most money.

My opinion is that the NFL needs to put a value on each position then let the players negotiate for incentives. That way they would get pay for play type contracts. I know the players association would never go for anything like that though.

Didn't the Chiefs just trade for Hopkins for a similar pick? And we got Mingo???? Watching Jerry run the cowboys is about like watching Biden run the country

I have said it 100 times, only way you winning a championship with Dak is with a stellar defense and running game, and some luck.
