Those are dandy. I prefer them to copperheads. At least you can see them. A copperhead would have disappeared in those leaves.

They're still moving around here. But they're moving slower than normal. Been able to catch and move one without needing to rush over to it.

My son raises Kangaroos and had a female roo get bit yesterday by a rattlesnake.

I have seen rattle snakes active at Christmas on warm days. Killed 11 one day one at a time on side of the asphalt between Carlsbad and Jal N.M.

I have seen a rattlesnake den with multiple snakes sunning in December on the Canadian River north of Borger.
