Cottonmouths venom is nasty stuff. Coworker's husband was bit in the lower leg by 1. He had a lot of tissue damage. Scar was a few inches wide and went from his ankle to his knee.

I killed a rattle snake coiled up in Mills Cnty in early January a couple yrs ago. They are always out if temps are above 60.

I kept 10 rattlesnakes in a pen one year..when baby rattlesnake started showing up all over town I was blamed for it..
