What recommendations and suggestions might you make for a 4wd beach/around town rig as well as outfitting it (tires, coatings, etc.)? I had a Ford F150 that I ran down the beach a few times a year for awhile. It was a good truck, but it had a flaw that you normally wouldn't notice. The stance of the truck leaned forward and the top had channels that held condensation. I feel like a few overnighters on the beach caused the channels to start rusting, which I didn't notice in time to deal with. Now I'm leaning to something smaller I can see over the top of, like a 4wd Jeep Cherokee. I've had a couple of those but never ran them down a beach. I've also been looking at Sequoias. Maybe something like the images. Your opinions, comments and suggestions are welcome here. Thanks.

I have two (2) Toyotas that I am about to put up for sale, First is a 1974 FJ40 with 16,000 original miles and a 1987 4/4 PU with 90,000.

PM me if interested.

Thanks

Nice. That 60 looks like it could climb a mountain.

whatever you decide on, you will need to have the underside sprayed or coated to slow the deterioration process.

Side Note: I would also go with a Toyota brand type of vehicle. thumb
