For KVD was his co-angler, the son was Alton Jr. https://www.bassfan.com/rayscott_article.asp?ID=48

They're still crafting the rule on that... Dan

The golden rule is how they don’t get cut.

seems like i heard something similar back in 2019......MLF awarded over 5 million in prize money this past year...don't have a number on the sponsorship dollars paid to anglers because they had 338 hours on national TV exposure but rest assured it is a substantial amount ...keep in mind MLF has created an opportunity for an additional 80 anglers to fish for milions of dollars the past 5 years..... here's a list of guys and their winnings last year that you may want to contact and share your thoughts on why they should leave MLF before it's too late...jacob wheeler $294,000.,drew gill $257,000.,dustin connel $191,000.,michael neal $240,000.,zack birge $183,000.,Skeet reese $168,000.....

These are the top earners.....and still at that, that's their winnings. What's it cost them to "win" that? Entry fees, travel, accommodations, food, general expenses?? Yes, a few of those names do well with sponsors but still. Those are hardly game changing $$ numbers for the best 10% in whatever field they're in. Not like Boyd/MLF created a bunch of high end financial opportunity for people. They could've gone into a number of trades, traveled way less, and if they were the best of the best made as much or more so.....

I'm a tournament fan too, and fish some, but c'mon. "Pro bass fishing" isn't a big money maker for 95% of the field. All I'm saying is don't make Boyd out to be this great guy that's creating jobs.....he's the only one to guaranteed to make money.

Yes if you ran the guantlet and qualified I think they should get two years to prove their worth, rookies on bassmaster get two years, Seth Feider would have got cut after his rookie season if not for the two year grace period.

and yet, fishermen are so stupid, they will continue to fish the TW circuit in hopes of making the BPT. They continue to screw the new blood and anglers are too ignorant to see it.

If you think about it you’d have to be stupid to fish any of them when you consider the ROI

KVD, Clunn and about 100 others will disagree with you.

There are 1%'ers in everything, pursuing a career as pro angler is not a wise choice

Here ya go... https://majorleaguefishing.com/bass...jor-league-fishing-bass-pro-tour-season/
No real surprises other than Browning, maybe he is going to the Opens with his son on the Elites now or just retiring. All the others missing had already annouced leaving or expected to be cut.
