He showed back up late in the evening and hung around as I tried to feed him.. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/10/full-76913-246209-img_3938.jpeg) Got this picture of him yesterday when he showed up to hunt birds at the bird bath.. left him more cat food which he didn’t like. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/10/full-76913-246221-img_4120.jpeg) Saw him again this afternoon.. got him to eat some turkey and closed the deal! Sat on the ground and petted him for half an hour and figured it was time to go through the bonding process!  ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2024/10/full-76913-246222-img_4124.jpeg) He really didn’t want me to pick him up and go inside my house!  Alls well that ends well..

I let explore inside the house, then let him outside, picked him back up and took him back in, showed him the front door, side door and was able to pick him up and leave him inside for a few minutes before he wanted out... he went hunting behind the tool shed and I saw him running full blast as one of the raccoons must have chased him away... havent seen him since but sure he will be back... at least in the daylight.

"Smokey" would be a good name.
