I am pretty familiar with Palestine and have fished it for a while but went ahead and purchased these lanes from Tom when he introduced them earlier this year and they have helped me out with faster routes I was afraid to try previously. Great product here, highly recommend it even for people familiar with Palestine.

Great investment if youre unfamiliar with this lake. Have used it 2 trips and have run from the dam to the north end with zero issues. Great job on the chip Tom and thanks again.

Purchased mine Monday afternoon, he shipped it Tuesday and it arrive Wednesday. Loaded on my Lowrance HDS3 today. It was easy and can't wait to use it this weekend. I was out there two weeks ago for my first time and was lucky. I was running the lake in some scary places based on this chip.

Thanks Tom, great product.

Are you going to be at check-in tomorrow for purchase of cards?

Can you explain this from your card? This looks like the work of Littlegazo. I believe he sometimes makes trails using google earth and that isn't good. this is concerning.

Here is my final point of concern. This trail that runs east and west should have been about 30 north of its current location. You can clearly see the road that was cut and your trail runs right on the right side of the tree line!

Sabre - All of the trails are verified on the water and with decades of local knowledge. These snips you posted are illustrations of an inaccurate overlay on google earth in which you yourself acknowledged at the beginning of your post that google earth can be inaccurate.

In the second pic you posted you stated that the icons are out of place. Your problem there is you have all the different icons showing as the same blue square. If you do things correctly you will see that two of those icons you are talking about are really skulls showing a danger to avoid.

What you call a roadbed is the big pipeline on the north end. People have been running that pipeline for years using Tom's card and there has not been any problems with stumps. Your overlay was incorrectly done.

The conclusion that I am able to draw from your posts is that the person making and selling the maps knows a whole lot more about the process and how to make it accurate than you do and that why the trails are accurate. Tom has sold a ton of the Lake Palestine cards over the years and you can ask anyone that has used them how accurate the trails are. You will find out that they are very accurate.

Well hell, been in computers since 1972. And I really hate social media. But better to be safe than sorry.

Mayne's Guidelanes and Vick's Boatlanes utilize Google Earth, Navionics and C-Map among other tools. Some for building and some for viewing.

BUT MAINLY, decades of guide knowledge of Mayne and Vick.

AND HOURS AND DAYS of ON-THE-WATER idling with sonar.

AND the low-water conditions of some lakes, recently Lake Fork. Which time saw Lawson and Curtis/McFarland build boat lanes. Just after Mayne and Vick PRO versions released.

So now for info on Mayne's Lake Palestine. . .
