It doesn't get cold enough here to worry about diesel gelling. If you feel like you have to add something I recommend Howe's, you can get it at Atwoods.

It absolutely does get cold enough for diesel to gel in North Texas. I’ve lived here since 2002 with a diesel truck and have experienced gelling on a few occasions. I prepare for it now so it hasn’t happened in a while.

Any of them will work fine. I stumbled upon SeaFoam which I happened to have in the garage in a pinch and it worked perfectly.

It definitely gets cold enough in east Texas. Most any anti gel stuff good. A lot of gas stations, especially truck stops already have in their diesel! Might check and see which ones have it in your area!

My Super Duty did too that first morning. That afternoon with the sun shining on the truck it started. 7 winters with two different Super Duty 6.7’s and that was the only time it ever happened

I have only had to use it once in 30 years here, that was three years ago. I just used whatever autozone had.

Please, someone provide picture proof of diesel gelling in Texas. Amarillo is fine.

I wanna see the pictures.

I have had signs of diesel gelling when we had extended cold and single digits temps in Houston. But my truck would still run, just took a bit to warm up and run better. Not worth adding any thing for those once in every 5 year occasions.

I've been in a blizzard, South Dakota. -16°. Parked overnight.

The fuel didn't gel in my truck or any body else's.

The diesel up there is #1 winter blend designed not to gel. Down here its nothing but #2 as the temps generally don't get cold enough.
