Have an Aunt in Orlando. She and one of her friends is hunkering down. Pics of Aunt…and friend (if cis-female)?

Have close family in Tampa, not close to the bay or surge line, they are hunkered down.

Also, has anyone been following Lieutenant Dan? He's become a "celebrity" on social media. He's a one-legged man living in a small sailboat on Tampa Bay. He's going to ride it out in the sailboat. Is this him ? https://x.com/i/status/1843728545992060975More videos in the comments...

I will say this, it’s been raining like the end of times here for several hours now, I mean straight down pouring. But no wind yet Stay safe heard the naders are firing up already... The tornadoes are indeed breaking out, south and southeast of Orlando and moving northwest. There are something like 12-14 confirmed

So who's got people in the area that are going to be impacted? One of my best friends lives in Tampa. Carrollwood area, on lake Carroll. He's got two kids under the age of 6. One of them is special needs and requires a feeding tube. His parents are down from Indiana watching his kids, because him and his wife are off hiking Havasu Falls in Arizona. They hiked in Monday morning; they hike back out Thursday morning and should get cell reception sometime Thursday afternoon. I talked to him Sunday and told him he was nuts for not canceling the hike and going home. I just checked in with is parents this morning and they are hunkered down in his house. They opted not to leave because it's easier to take care of the special needs child in my buddy's house. I checked their elevation; they are at 39 feet. At least they've got that going for them... This seems incredibly moronic and irresponsible, i have no idea how they could make the decision to continue with the hike and leave the kids/parents there in tampa. Why even risk it. I agree. We had pretty heated words about it. He's a good enough friend of mine that I tell him exactly what I think. He's very religious and I think he thinks God will protect his family.

That’s a terrible decision to stay especially since there are special needs shelters open.

https://www.tampabay.com/hurricane/...-watch-hurricane-milton-landfall-videos/Here are some live cameras around the area so you can monitor the wind and water levels as it approaches. Most of the time that I can remember most of the cameras go offline before the storm gets onshore.
I am wrong but you can not prove it, you just believe it enough from the bottom of your heart.....

Tornado just went through Fort Myers and took the roof off of one house with residents inside.
This is a dangerous one to stay home through.
