So who's got people in the area that are going to be impacted? One of my best friends lives in Tampa. Carrollwood area, on lake Carroll. He's got two kids under the age of 6. One of them is special needs and requires a feeding tube. His parents are down from Indiana watching his kids, because him and his wife are off hiking Havasu Falls in Arizona. They hiked in Monday morning; they hike back out Thursday morning and should get cell reception sometime Thursday afternoon. I talked to him Sunday and told him he was nuts for not canceling the hike and going home. I just checked in with is parents this morning and they are hunkered down in his house. They opted not to leave because it's easier to take care of the special needs child in my buddy's house. I checked their elevation; they are at 39 feet. At least they've got that going for them...

Also, has anyone been following Lieutenant Dan? He's become a "celebrity" on social media. He's a one-legged man living in a small sailboat on Tampa Bay. He's going to ride it out in the sailboat.

Tampa mayor said anyone who stays will be killed. I sure hope he is wrong but this storm is a big one and we won't know what it's going to be when it hits land till it does.
