Have any of you found a submersible taillight for your boat trailers that holds up?

I've installed LED's on trailers and always used waterproof connections. The connections never fail, the dang LED's eventually all burn out. Most within a year or two. I guess I shouldn't expect that much from $30 taillights.

I'm willing to spend more on lights that last.

What has been y'all's experience?

The pictures are from my current trailer. I just replaced the bulb. Apparently, the seal for the bulb failed. I put a small bead of silicone grease on the cover seat and reinstalled it after replacing the bulb. Hopefully this seals it back up.

Need to get sealed LED assemblies. What you have let’s water in and short circuits the bulbs. Cheap can be expensive

The optronix brand of sealed lights seem to last forever, as do the Fusion brand from ETrailers. I’m pretty certain the factory lights in my SkeeterBuilt trailer are Optronix.

Yep, that or the old school method of disconnecting lights before backing trailer in. Won't work if have surge brakes with electric selinode and don't pin the actuator.

My sealed LED's are 5 years old.
