So we have 4 good players on defense Perry? You have to play 7 more. How many on offence?. CD Ferguson Zach Martin Tyler smith . who else. Asking for Ray Charles. Very few teams have more 3-4 stars on defense. Same with offense.

Bottom line in the NFL its a physical game. You have to run the ball on offence and stop the run on defense. Jerry did nothing in the off season to address a problem the Cowboys have had for years.

Go watch some Ravens post game They all say they knew the Cowboys were soft and their game plan was to run it down the Cowboys throat. Pretty simple football.

It is what it is or as Stephen likes to say " at the end of the day " they are just not very good, I have been fortunate enough to live through all of their SB's, been a huge fan since about 1965, now I try not to let it bother me when they lose or do not do well in the play offs, because at the end of the day, it is just another game.

I'm not jumping ship 3 games in the season...LFG Cowboys That's what I like about the NFL, they could turn things around. Just read a quote from D-Law about his frustration.. "Not having our stuff together on defense where we’re playing 11-man football. It’s all frustrating. Having a game plan but not following the game plan. Once we get out of playing little league football and get back to playing pro football, we’ll be alright. Play pro football. Do what your coaches teach you to do. Play your gaps, play your blocks. Stay in your gaps. I’m included in this. I’m not disconnected from this at all. It’s just small things That we have to get back to, and we’ll do it this week."

Pump the brakes- dem boyz lost to the best 0-2 team in the NFL, you’ll still get a wild card this year… But they were destroyed two games in a row, I really do not see them getting back on track. They were never on track. They beat a terrible Browns team that just lost to a previously winless NYG team. They weren't that good last year and lost tons in the offseason. All we've done is watch Jerry put ourselves in financial position to be unable to recover anytime soon. Should have started planning for a Dak replacement 3-4 years ago and you could have had Henry or Barkley this offseason, added OL help, kept the DL and secondary pieces you had, and you could have had hope for the future. As of now, we don't have a present or future. Drafting Mazi in the 1st round last year didn't help either. You have to get contributions from your first rounder. Life can only be understood backwards, is that the same is hindsight is 20 / 20 ? Yeah it is. At least the coffee is good this morning and the cowboys have an easier schedule the rest of the year. I still see them making the wild card slot. Zimmer will figure out a way to make the defense better than they've been these last 2 games. But I can't see any way they compete for a SB with a $60M QB who can't play well against good teams and a defense with a bunch of budget-friendly role players whose biggest achievement is accepting a salary low enough that we could pay Dak and CD

Kamper I got a bad feeling about this season. It could be so bad I start agreeing with patriot. The feeling is mutual, I misjudged how good the D would be, I thought if they could play great defense they would have a really good team, so much for those thoughts. Patriot is right about a lot of things, I wish he would not keep rubbing it in our faces LOL. I don't see it as much about rubbing it in your faces as trying to convince you that even if we don't always agree, it's not because I'm an idiot. I think you guys have lots of super valid points - in my mind I'm just trying to see if you guys can see it from my angle at all, which sometimes is right and sometimes is wrong. I just really hate the way Jerry manages this team and think that pretty much anyone with working brain cells could do better.

You do realize Dak Prescott is the only QB on a Super Bowl contending team who is playing without a run game and without a defense that can stop the run... They are far from a SB contending team. About as close as the 49ers The 49ers have been to like a half dozen conference championships in the last 10 years and 3-4 super bowls. Cowboys haven't been to 1 of either.

I also see the highest paid player in the NFL (let that sink in) who can't elevate his play or his offense. He repeatedly throws behind receivers, even two weeks in a row misfiring on passes to Zeke in the flat, easy passes for an NFL quarterback. His stats often look good on paper because he pads them after the game is out of reach and the opposing team begins playing softer, prevent defense like last year's Green Bay playoff game and yesterday's game. Dallas had 6 points after three quarters yesterday. I don't doubt his effort, we have watched him since 2016 and we know what he is, a little above average qb that needs a lot of talent around him to be successful. And he wilts in big games and playoff games. His thousand yard stare is his famous playoff face. Jerry was insane giving him that big contract. He should have let this year play out. Micah must be the easiest player in the NFL for a good team to scheme out of the game. He disappears frequently. Generational player, lol. And next year Jerry will make him the highest paid defensive player, what a joke. McCarthy's offense is stale. Where is the motion? Why can't he scheme players open? It's frustrating, on paper Dallas has a few really good players, they just are not playing like it right now. Dak didn't light it up but let's be honest. The defense has given up almost 1000yds combined from last 2 games. Let's start there. I mean, Dak makes about the same as the entire starting defense. Their first half drives yesterday were 3 minutes - punt, 3 minutes - field goal, 3 minutes - fumble, 1 minute - punt, 2 minutes - punt, 20 seconds - field goal. The defense had no breaks at all and was playing an offense with last year's MVP and a RB that we could have had if Jerry wasn't an idiot. The defense isn't good, but it can't be good when you have 40% of the cap in 2 offensive players.
