My rate is 13.6 cents per KWH with Constellation. I am under a 3-year contract. I have seen as low as 11 cents on Power to Choose.

Fine print on mine. 22¢ a kwh. Stream Energy. One year contract. It's not like you're going without power. I should've did the three year. With the option of transferring it to another address.

As for the fridge. The biggest power consumer after the AC. But unlike the AC. I'm not going without a refrigerator. I've been filling cleaned out milk jug with water. Sticking them in the back of the fridge as cold sinks. In the freezer, I have a huge bag of ice to take up space.

Refrigerator is set at 35° for the main part. The freezer is on it's lowest setting and it will still freeze things rock hard. 3-6°.

Bought an oil lamp. Not to save money but for the late night, relaxing, light. Made in Germany.

Why don't you freeze the milk jugs with water and when frozen put them in the back of the fridge and put a couple more in the freezer, swapping out from fridge to freezer?

Hey,I got a gallon of milk on schedule. 128 ounces per gallon. 8oz glass per day. 16 days worth of milk. The average lifespan of pasteurized milk.

I'm doing good in life. And I have to build a bed platform, using the money saved from electricity. It's gotta happen. Just like the table.
